JUST CHECKIN IN

Hey so just checking in....Im kinda bored but yet at the same time having a good day. I watched my babe play baseball today and it was amazing. I havnt seen him so happy in a while. Just the carefree spirit he has when hes playing makes me smile. If I saw that smile just once everyday for the rest of my life, i would want nothing more. It's weird cause yea we have had our problems in our relationship (which is really no ones business) but we are working them out and things have been going AMAZING!!! And our relationship is more stable....I love him so much....

Also, less than a month until my 18th birthday! And 50 Days until Graduation! Saw my senior pictures and they came out AWESOME~~~~

True Love

The two people that I consider to have a strong love relationship was my grandpa and my grandma. My grandpa Bill has always been a strong spirited person, and also very stubborn. But, he is also a very kind hearted person and has his weaknesses. My grandma Debbie had a strong matriachal personality and knew how to get things done. They both could be stubborn at times and butted heads sometimes, but my grandma knew how much my grandpa loved her. See, my grandpa was always the type to love them and leave them....was always afraid of commitment but when he met my grandma, that changed. He became hooked and as some people like to call it whipped. They both knew how to make each other happy and seemed to fit perfectly together like to parts of a puzzle that when they came together created a glow that no one could mistake or miss. Even when my grandma was diagnosed with 4th stage pancreatic cancer, my grandpa knew how to keep her strong, peacefull, and faithfull. And I think, that's what true love is all about.

My Summary

In this sonnet, Francis is talking about Laura, the woman that he has been madly in love with for years. In sonnets before this one he has talked about how he loves her but his love seems to never been returned. And in some, he even talks about how angry at her he is for breaking his heart. In this sonnet, he tells us of his emotions after Laura dies of the black plague. He is remembering how he has talked about her in negative ways and yet how much he loves her. He has recognized that she is gone and that it is the end of their relationship, but yet her knows that he loved and still loves her and seems to never even think about changing the past if he could.

Personality Quickwrite

Four qualities of my personality that I consider to be my best is my caring additude, my devoted heart, my forgiving nature, and my ability to want to see the best in people. My caring additude is a positive thing in my personality because if I didnt have the ability to care for others, Im sure others wouldnt neccesarily want to be caring towards me. Secondly, my sense of a devoted heart comes in handy because if I wasnt devoted to people such as my family or my boyfriend, I would not have any integrity. And I would probabally look and be considered trashy. Also, my forgiving nature is a very positive trait that not many people have. Although, this trait sometimes gets me in trouble. Lastly, my ability to want to see the best in people is also sometimes my downfall. Although, It makes me a very humble and better person.

I believe this quote means that all humans need in life is right in front of them it is just their choice and their duty to find it and make the best out of it. And to always be true to yourself and what you are thinking and feeling. An example of this scenario in my life is that I am not the type of person to confront anyone. I try to stay out of any type of violence and confrontation. And therefore, usually keep my feelings and opinions to myself. I had to learn to assert myself without getting involved in violence and so far it has worked.

Quote Analysis for 9-29-10

I believe that the quote given to us by Miss Ramirez means that education should give knowledge in many subjects like math, English, etc. And should also create habits that allow people to think and make educated decisions that will give a positive outcome.
One example of this in my life would be when I was in Social Justice last year. There was a lot that I didn't know(such as what the Black Panthers were) and when I was taught these things I was able to really start thinking about my actions and change them. Such as any form of discrimination hate or prejudice acts.
